Business Visit of the Belarusian Delegation to Guangzhou: Development of Industrial and Technological Cooperation

The Minsk Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a business visit of a delegation of representatives of domestic enterprises to Guangzhou (PRC). The main item on the program was participation in the 139th Canton Fair, the largest trade platform in Asia, as well as visits to a number of high-tech production sites. 

During the international exhibition, Belarusian participants held a series of negotiations at the stands of Chinese corporations. The main focus was placed on identifying innovative solutions for technical modernization. As a result of the meetings, agreements were reached on cooperation and the optimization of existing production processes. Samples of relevant materials were selected by the Belarusian side for testing under industrial conditions.

An important stage of the visit was the inspection of specialized enterprises. At a medical equipment manufacturing plant for intensive care and hospital use, the parties exchanged experience in the practical application of medical equipment and discussed current engineering developments. The negotiations resulted in the agreement on preliminary logistics and payment terms. Samples of high-tech products were handed over to Belarusian specialists for detailed evaluation and subsequent testing.

The delegation also visited factories specializing in the production of monitoring systems and electronic display boards. Following the visit to a video screen and display board manufacturing facility, specific agreements were reached on equipment supplies to the Republic of Belarus.

This visit confirmed the strong interest of the business communities of both countries in expanding industrial cooperation and the transfer of advanced technologies.
