The Minsk branch of the BelCCI organized the registration and issuance of its own production certificates and expertise acts in the form of electronic documents with digital signature

The Department of Expertise and Certification of Machinery and Equipment of the Unitary Enterprise ‘Minsk Branch of the BelCCI’ issued the first Certificate of its own production products in electronic form using electronic digital signature.

M.M. Myatlikov, Chairman of the BelCCI, said ‘Digitalization of business processes is no longer the future, it is the present. And chambers can make a significant contribution to accelerating and expanding business interaction between countries.

It is important to meet the new challenges of the times when creating customer interactions.

These formats include the introduction of electronic certificates of own production confirmation and goods origin.

The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry plans to start full-fledged electronic issuance of its own production certificate from 2025.

The advantages of this form of documents include simplification of the procedure for the customer and optimization of business processes.

In addition, the issuance of certificates is a significant step in preparing for the issuance of electronic certificates of origin through the prism of the CIS countries interests, removing barriers to the movement of goods and services between Belarus and Russia.

Within the framework of the signed Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation on the procedure of recognition electronic digital signature in an electronic document during cross-border electronic interaction - the main resource - is in the use of the electronic form of the certificate of origin of goods of ST-1 form, which BelCCI plans to introduce by the end of 2025.
