The Decree of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dd. September 03, 2008 No. 1290 “On approval of the regulation on the acceptance of the quality and quantity of goods” entitles the Chamber of Commerce and Industry to participate in the acceptance of the quality and quantity of goods.

Minsk Branch of the BelCCI Unitary Enterprise offers the following commodity examination and goods/cargo inspection procedures:

     • examination (inspection) of quality, quantity, completeness of goods, equipment and raw materials;
     • examination (inspection) during transfer of cargo at the railway stations from one train container to another or to the track;
     •examination (inspection) during loading of goods by the exporter - pre-shipment inspection;
     • examination (inspection) of the goods during the goods unloading at the warehouse of the consignee;
     • goods identification;
     • sampling for laboratory examination;
     • examination (inspection) of container, packaging and marking for compliance with the mandatory standard requirements and other regulatory acts;
     • examination (inspection) of the products quality loss (including fruit-and-vegetable) during its transportation and storage;
     • examination (inspection) of the actual damage and depreciated cost of the goods after fires and other acts of nature;
     • valuation of the goods damages caused by insured events;
     • examination of the returned goods according to trading organisation claims, consumer protection agency notifications and judicial and investigation agency decisions;
     • examination (inspection) of the goods for customs purposes;
     • inspection - registering the condition of the packaging, goods and of the goods quantity at the moment of its transfer (acceptance) to the bonded warehouse.

VISUAL AND DIMENSIONAL EXAMINATION OF WELDED JOINTS AND ULTRASONIC THICKNESS MEASUREMENT

Experts of Minsk Branch of the BelCCI Unitary Enterprise are certified in the field of visual and dimensional nondestructive examination (V&DE) and ultrasonic thickness measurement (USM) for the industrial sector: equipment machines and constructions examination before and during operation.

V&DE – it is efficient method to examine quality of the welded joints. It is one of the cheapest, quick and informative methods of nondestructive examination. This method (V&DE) allows detecting such defects as: cracks, weld height and width differences, scaling, lapping and cutting-up, shallow welds, burning through, wrong weld size and excessive concavity.

USM is a basic method used for examination of the walls thickness value, which is performed by a single thickness measurement in places, which are not accessible by mechanical measuring tools. This method allows to measure thickness of products made of majority of structural materials. The following objects can be examined: thickness of walls of tubes, vessels, containers, ship and riverboat hulls, and other products without cut and without access to the opposite or hard-to-reach surface of the object.
